Ul-Haq, 23 Dec 2014Thinking about buying, but I've been reading that users of the LG G Flex L23 have not been abl... moreUPDATE: So I finally got on to LG Customer Support and their take on the matter is that the problem is not with the model of the phone being the L23 in the USA as this just signifies that this phone is the international version. Rather, it's a matter of configuration and the user can either take the device in to their Carrier for the configuration to be done or try another manual 'switch' whenever 3G/4G is needed. Their exact words were:
"Yes they can also dial *#*#4636#*#* to turn on the 4G/3G, but they have to do this everytime they want to use the 4G/3G, but if its configured from the network it will be automatic."
So I am not in the USA to try this, but if someone who's had this problem could, then it would be useful to try it out and give some feedback.

Thinking about buying, but I've been reading that users of the LG G Flex L23 have not been able to access 3G nor 4G data services in the USA. But my review of the phone here on GSMarena confirms that the phone is compatible with the 3G and 4G bands in the USA, so then what is the problem with these users' phones?
I really like this phone. The screen resolution is enough at least for my eyes, and the battery is really long lasting.
