Seriously, Moto G is the best phone i have ever bought.
Never never dissapointed me. Cant say how many times it dropped. Im not even scared when it hits the floor :).
Maybe i cant recommend it now to new users, because it's an old model. But i dont even think about changing it until it breaks. :)
Excellent phone Moto G2 16 gb.
No problem at all from last 2.8 years.
100% satisfaction as compare to samsung phones.
moto rocking....
The best mid-range phone I've been using. Use it for 3 years now since I visit this spec page before bought it.
Please don't buy MOTO G Any generation mobile because they are having inserted very low quality motherboard and after few days usage of your mobile, you start getting hanging phone more frequently and one day it will cost 80% of your mobile due to mother board issue and need to replacement completely which would be too much costlier better if you purchase new one. I am experiencing problem moto g 3rd gen after one year usage of my mobile with very careful.
is 5.1 version different from 5.1.1
will moto g 2013 receive 5.1.1 update also ?
purchased in march 2014 and still works, the best phone i ever had, now buy a moto G4 plus, but my 1st moto g works great
my phone has 5.1 version
will it be updated to 5.1.1 ?
r they both same version or different
royalyell0w, 25 Jul 2016I've had this phone for just over a year and a half, and it's probably one of the best phones ... moreMaybe just loose contacts... I fix it in the repair shop for only 3$
Moto g are nice at least better than Lenovo 6000 or 7000 the service is too hopeless. They think as if we r begging them after paying them for their dabbas they won't respect u after sale only till sale will convince for their product. Than they don't care though the phone deads no care of ur hardly earned money. So guys don't waste ur hardly earned on Lenovo,go for moto is average one.
I've had this phone for just over a year and a half, and it's probably one of the best phones I could have gotten for my lifestyle. Constantly moving, bumping, occasionally dropping. The screen and phone itself has taken quite a beating, but hasn't cracked or physically broken in any way. It's small and light, and for the first year it was very fast. The lack of memory on the phone was rather annoying, since there was no SD card slot.
I got the Lollipop update way after every other Android phone, but it still ran just fine without it. It started to get slower and freeze after the first year. It heats up pretty quickly if you're not in air conditioning, and since I live in the south, that can cause problems.
The front camera is very low quality, and not good for selfies (but never took any anyways). The rear facing camera also isn't that great, but much better than most phones from 2013. The speaker is fantastic on it, and I can blast music when I don't have my real speakers with me. I was worried about the charging port breaking, as that is how a lot of good phones break, but there still aren't any issues with it. The actual body of it is strong and flexible.
The way this phone met its end is the SIM card slot no longer recognizing the SIM in it. I tried everything. Off and on, taking it out and putting it back in, the whole thing. My carrier (AT&T) said that they sent a signal to my SIM and got no response, meaning my fears were confirmed: my beloved Moto G 1st gen was busted. I'm getting the Moto G4, and I hope it's a better, faster version of this one.
All in all, very very happy with this phone. Motorola did a great job. Would reccomend, if we were still in 2013.
My wife and I love ours. Got them as soon as released. Considering getting the g4 but ours are both still working perfectly.
Solid phone..... In 2014...... Now is out of date and any updated software is slow and it heats up real bad. Had it crash many times from texting....

Ajay Shetty, 30 Jun 2016I bought Moto G sometimes back. Earlier had Samsung. One draw back i find compared to Samsun... moreNow things have changed, dude. With the lollipop the things you mentioned is just a touch away. Such shotrcuts are all put in notification bar. Seamless and easy to use. I've been using this device for almost two years (on 24th july it'll be two years) and believe me it's the most fluent device among the ones that I used before. It's not even affected by water for the long term. Hard and strong like a rock.
