I have only had my Moto G for a few days, I am impressed as I have never had a smartphone before. Should I download new system software when info pops up, this phone is brand new, don't want to mess it up either way. Please respond with your input. Thank you.

After upgrade the battery performance is poor and now the functionality of mobile as Modem by turning on hotspot is not working.tried to troubleshoot using steps sent by moto care still issue remains

Hi Moto Users,
Its been a year i am using MOTO G.. .Superb performance till now. Amazing display, fast processor, never been hang.

I updated it on Android L then factory reset. Phone is way faster, more memory - about 500mb free... on Kitkat its likes 300-400 mb. Of course, after i installed same apps.
So far so good. Still superb battery life.
Camera is not so good tho, but i installed the Procapture from google play and its way better than the stock camera:D

I've dropped the phone many times but the display did not break. Last week, it fell from height of 5 feet and my bike went over the screen and finally the glass broke.

The Moto G DOES have a micro SD card slot. You have to open the back cover, and it's there on the side. No telling what the max GB is, I'm guessing 32

sathish j, 17 Mar 2015i want to buy, s r no?i actually recommend this phone i dont own it but looking at the specs the battery is great on life being 2070 mAh. good java internet browser . the camera is good pixels for the phone and the operating system is good. jelly bean and kitkat os a probably the best type you want with a phone. and has quad core which should make the phone faster then regular dual core phones
