Had the phone 3 years, no real problems. Sometimes loses network connection but only for a short period and normally only when I'm in a bad reception area, other than that I can't fault it.

Launched in 2013 but still this phone is rocking for me, recently 8.1 Oreo ROM came out for it. With such a great custom ROMs support this is by far one of the best phones by Motorola.

40 months old still going strong, battery lasts as new 2 1/2 days with moderate usage. Looks like new. Replaced now with a Huawei P8 lite, as memory now a problem. Passing old one to family member. But absolutely impressive for £100 in 2013.

Mine is still going strong for daily use with LineageOS.
I only use WhatsApp though.

My mom has the Motorola Moto G since 2014 and it still works today. The only major issue I had was the power button component that came off the board. It was easily fixed by soldering and I added a piece of paper between the buttons and the battery to have a back support.

I bought a Moto G5 S-Plus three weeks ago. I often found the phone not responding to the power on button, or at times the home screen doesn't come up. Also I am unable switch off screen saver pictures, i am not sure if I missed how to do that. Otherwise the phone is good, camera is OK that's all

One SIM. I'm selling mine since I upgraded to a MOTO X4. Works like new. Unlocked.

I am using this phone since 2014, it's a very good phone. Now I think that 1 GB RAM is very small to handle the big apps, in market the 4gb ram Mobiles flooded with new choice going to moto G5s plus with its 4GB ram, 3000amp battery, 64gb in build memory, better camera, LTE, external memory support, all this make it better choice. But moto g original is still going smooth if we keep less apps & free storage like 6 GB. I love moto g brand.

Have had my 16GB Motorola G 1st edition since 2013 and I haven't found an SD card on it yet we know it's not there. The phone has work for me perfectly over all these years and doesn't have a scratch on it I love this phone and I wish they made more of them.

I'm being using this phone for 4 years without any problem even with some drops to the floor.
I really think this is the best purchase I ever made.

Motorola service centre gives third class services. I have given a mobile to the service centre at CTC odiaha since 3 days ago. They r taking the time 7days more. Problem is minor. I,e charger pin.

Great phone, still working well. Benefits from the Cyanogenmod upgrade to Android 6. Still support on XDA developers to run Android 7. Only upgrading because I want a better camera and SD storage.

Best Phone. Using it for 4 years. Installed lineage OS 14.1 (will upgrade to Android Oreo i,e Lineage OS 15 soon). It works like brand new phone though it doesn't have many latest features. I still use this phone till it is supported by Lineage OS and ugrade the phone later. Long live falcon.

I have been using Moto G first generation 3 and half years. No problems yet. Thank you Motorola moto G first generation. Because first generation is made by Google company. I think, all other generations of Moto G (made by Lenovo company) are not worthy as Moto G first generation.

Best ever smartphone. Using last 3 and half year. Very beautiful display competing this days high end phone. No lagging on normal games. No hanging but little bit slow. Very hard material . I fall it 100 of times never single scratch on screen. Never used cover, back cover or screen guard.
