You've got it wrong, I don't hate Lollipop, I just hate the mess Google made of it. I have it on my Nexus 5, and it didn't take long to find it's shortcomings. Lollipop has it's good points,e.g. ART runtimes, which was long over due; but it was rushed out without proper testing.
Aesthetically it is ugly! The dialer looks like something out of the 80's. I had to use Exdialer to make it look anywhere presentable, and Chomp SMS for messaging.
Then look at all the complaints users are posting here and on the Nexus 5 Forum for this rushed out mess. It shouldn't happen, and it is disgraceful that Google has to issue an update to correct the faults after such a short time after release.
My Moto G is going to stay on KitKat until Google get it right, because right now it isn't!

I got the update notification 3 days ago...that time I didn't do the update... But now I have lost the update...now whenever I go to settings the checkup page show the software is upto date...when I chat to motorola support team, they told to do factory reset...but after factory reset, I still could not find the update...now how can I get the lollipop update...my mobile model is xt1033 ..... someone help me...

nice update........... for anyone who cannot upgrade to lollipop upgrade your motorola assist from play store then u can find lollipop update in system updates.......on the whole it is very nice..

BTW , I know you hate lollipop and its better you stay with your KitKat. or you can sue Google for cheating you with lollipop..:) ...so stop whining

Oh, this is fun!
I warned people weeks ago NOT to update their phones to Lollipop because it was bug ridden, but of course nobody listened. Now I'm laughing my socks off reading all these posts from users with problems using this pile of ****.

Awesome phone, super crisp display, handy, long battery life of 1 day with wifi + gaming. Camera is v.good but not excellent,better than any 5mp camera.front camera is dam clear.speed and multi tasking are superb in this range. better than qmobile and voice. HD games run smoothly. strong phone recomended for every above average user.
