I got lollipop today on 23 jan 2015 for moto g 1st gen in banglore. Update Motorola update services app in playstore and then check for updates.

moto g user, 23 Jan 2015ya i checked it. both ver are same but its not realsed by motorola . Morever, not getting any ... moredude some users are getting official update notifications....as i said before both versions are same ...if you still want to downgrade to kitkat please visit XDA forums it is quite easy to down grade to kitkat.Then you will get notification from Motorola itself... so dude don't worry
As for me iam happy with my update. even if i don't any future updates from Motorola i can still get the same from xDA forums.

moto g user, 22 Jan 2015please tell me how to downgrade 5.0 to kitkat becoz its is not official update and further not... moreno need to downgrade...both versions are same... please check your version and version released by Motorola.
