i have this phone and i think the battery is great...i can play music around 12 hours but i think its more than that...i just havent made the test but with usage in calls and texting...still i manage to play music at 12hours... i think you cannot put pictures on the memory...only mp3

hi im purchased w270 few days back. i upload some of my pictures through data cable in pictures folder in the SD card. but, i cant open those pictures in my phone, it saying no enough memory to open. anybody plzz tel me there is any limitations in this issue.

@Pullalite, and to everyone who asks this:
Moto w270 has a decent battery life. The only reason why some have no more than a day or two of battery charging lies hugely on the mp3 usage. The volume, bps, and length of playing plays huge parts in battery life.
Even my sister's ROKR E6's battery doesn't last a day with music playing, however this doesn't mean that ROKR E6's battery is weak. It just means that mp3 consumes a lot of electrical energy.

I have the following questions. Please answer if anyone knows.
1. Can we store multiple numbers in a single contact? if yes how many and will it display a single name in the Contact List (like Nokia)?
2. Can we transfer contacts into Computer as a backup?
3. Can we assign ringtones to the individual contact or group of contacts?

how long does is it battery hold out actualy? I just bought the fon. I use it for normal smsing and calling and only 1/2 hour of mp3 listening and the battery doesn't even hold up for a day

Its very good phone. Value for money.
MP3, FM, 256 MB microSDcard, SD card Adapter, Headphone, USB connector data cable, charger...what else needed? No camera. thank god.
record the FM radio. can be used upto 2GB card. External colourful icon indicator for missed call, SMS, charging. Very nice.
i am happy with this phone.

In india, mumbai(bombay)specifically i'm getting this phone for Rs.3100 and a 1GB card for Rs.400(approx) so that total comes approx Rs.3500...so at this price is it a worth cellphone to buy? i have gone through the reviews found it satisfactory but is any other model or brand which is available at this price and with same features or better?

To start this, you can go down and read what people have already answered. The information you want is there.
But today I'm in a good mood and so I will answer again:
1. can the mp3 files be used as ringtones for calls, sms, alarm?
Answer: YES. As ringtones for ALL of that.
2. can i install games from the usb cable i.e. storing the game setup file in the memory card and then installing the game?
Answer: copy the game to a 'OTHERS' folder, then open it from your phone. Don't expect to stuff it with games. I haven't installed any, Sudoku and Tetris are enough, I haven't got time to play.
3. how is the radio reception quality?
Answer: Very good.
4. can i upgrade the earphones provided in the sales package?
Answer: The plug is 2.5, but I've never tried other earphones. The ones provided are really nice and when a call comes in while we are listening to music, we can answer without having to take out the earphones from our ears and flipping open the phone.
5. what does the sales package contain?
Answer: Phone, battery, earphones, manual.
6. will it operate without any problem when we use 2GB card for it?
Answer: Absolutely no problem. I've got a SanDisk 2GB and a Kingston 2GB. The phone doesn't get slow or anything, even if both cards are full.
