I got rid of my Note 5 because of this and other broken promises. Won't go near Samsung ever again. What gets me is people don't learn. They'll be complaining 6/8 months from now about lag in their S8s etc.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Android pay hasn't got any support for Barclays yet so I cant see Samsung Pay getting it either. Barclays are pretty heavily invested into their own contactless ecosystem with their tags and mobile banking app.

i would be very surprised to see AMEX supported with samsung pay, they have their own contactless app, same as barclaycard, but it would be nice though, i have both cards along with MBNA, also MBNA is only a contactless payment for now NO MST support yet
