There are iPad exclusive apps that iPhone do not have. Just that Apple put too much power into it, so its good for 4 years and counting, plus their OS have support soo long, so theres no need to upgrade.
Plus you look at the hardware over the years.. mini 2 (A7) mini 3 (A7) mini 4 (A8).. If i have mini 2, why should i go buy mini 3 or 4?? If they keep it up to date.. like mini 5 (A10).. and ditch their iPad pro lines.. i tell you it will sell like hotcakes again.

Force Majeure, 17 May 2017This is true, I would never ever buy another tablet.Like the millions of people who stopped buying tablets. Doesn't matter if Apple discontinued the iPad mini or not, nobody really buys tablets anymore so you wouldn't be the only one. They want phablets. Another tablet is just an added accessory like a smart watch occupied by many other gadgets. No longer a necessity. Tablets were always a fad to me anyways. People eventually stopped caring of it can't make calls except through VOIP or video calls.
Tablets = giant media player
Let it die out.

I have been waiting for mini 5. I use mini iPad far more than my full size unit.
It is easy to carry about and with the SIM card version an ideal email sender and reader and with the use of kindle app then ideal for reading

My favorite device is Ipad mini. My Ipad mini 1 has been working perfectly for four years, and I am still using it for reading, study, and videos every day. I don't understand what can I do with the bulky and heavy Ipads, and why people need to pretend to be using a computer while using the stupid Ipad pro.

Also 10 inch devices are as big as an A5 book, maybe smaller when bezels are kept at a minimum. Not exactly big devices...

iPad mini it's way too cheap for the bitten apple logo, there was just a matter of time till Apple would have sorted this mistake up.
