Completely agree. And I knew this too. I knew that S8 gonna score same as s7, because the hardware is totally same and software cannot make as significant improvement because s7 already had almost complete software. I also knew u11 gonna score best as soon as read the specs. But hadn't specifically knew it'll beat pixel.
And that softeness issue is real. Yes. You can easily see the soft photos of s7 even compared to htc 10 when gsmarena had a comparison.

This is the reason why dual cam is must have in new flagship phones, you cant sell better quality camera to anyone anymore because all the cameras produce very good quality, in other hand you can add new features to your camera which helps you stand out and might help you getting bigger sales.
