And there are no other compact flagships. I wantes to get compact flagship like a year ago, but there was none. So yeah, calm down and if you dont like screen size, choose other smartphone. There are a lot of giany screen phones. 5 inch screen is perfect. I have 5.5 inch oneplus 3 and i know what im saying.

My wild speculation for the Compact is, SD660, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, 4.6" 720p, still no water proofing (may be will add splash proofing).
Preferred spec: SD660/821, 4.7" 1080p, IP68, microSD/SIM combo slot for a 2nd SIM.

well, as far as i can remember, the Xperia X1 was a Windows Mobile device with physical keyboard. But off course that was under Sony Ericsson brand. I know because i owned one.

The latest cam, the latest processor, decent battery for powering HD display, the most important it's packed in 4,6" screen the most suitable size for me!!

Great that the XZ1 Compact will have top speced CPU, but why keep the (by 2017 standards) coarse resolution display HD display over a FHD?

Many phablets on the 5.1-6.1" range got QHD, so why only HD on a 4.6" phone? FHD on 4.6" would be the same pixel-size as QHD on a 6.1" device...

Good news for the one who waiting for proper compact smartphone, and the full pixel continues and shoot might mean the camera constantly buffer image in the background and stack all of it in a single shot when shutter is pressed (pixel like, maybe faster) as the Camera has it own RAM to buffer full 19mp picture, instead constantly deleting and creating image in the phone RAM or storage

Well they should name it as Sony Xperia X (2017) or something to refresh the X series instead of adding a Z because they said that they will continue it with X series

So "full pixel continuous and shoot." could mean that the cameras will have Dual Pixel Autofocus like Galaxy S7/S8 and HTC U11, nice. XZ1 will be a XZs with Snap 835, XZ1 Compact will be a X Compact with Snap 835, 4GB RAM and maybe a metal body, not a plastic one and finally X1 should be the bezelless midrange leaked some time ago with Snap 660, 5" 1080p screen, most interesting phone in this leak, because it will show us a compact bezelless phone (in comparison with the mammoths S8/S8+/G6).
