The xperia xz1 will stand as a perfect smartphone to me, if they put a HDR screen(not 4k),Make some design tweaks and improve loudness keeping the same quality sound coming from the front firing speakers...

3rd class mobile... I am using Sony XZ. The device does not have the capability and capacity of HD video and worst device ever used. Should get money back gift to use this device.

Finally, the return of Sony's Compact Line, after nearly 2 years. True flagship specs in a truly compact body. These new smartphones definitely don't look like they skimp on specs, like last year's Sony line.
But still why is Sony so averse to having large batteries in their smartphones? A 4000+ mAh battery won't hurt.

Sony needs to chill with these 6 month releases its retarded. If I were them I'd release everything at IFA every year. That would put the releases around September in time to do battle against iPhone. It's also enough to get on the "back to school" spree, as well as Christmas. Also the XZs is completely pointless since the xz1 will spank it in every way. Better soc, bigger battery. They really need to focus on quality not that they're quality is bad. Though for some reason they always screw up the algorithm in their camera's. The new shootout between XZs vs S8 vs G6 proves that.
Again focus on they form factors:
"SML" 4.6" screen 2700mah battery flagship soc
"M" 5.2" screen 3000+mah battery flagship soc
"L" 5.5" screen ~3400mah battery flagship soc

I hope they can showcase a much more eye appealing phone at IFA that can easily compete up other phones. The XZP seems to hated. Like the "screen" for example and the Fingerprint sensor

Happy owner of a Z3c, I was disappointed with the X-Compact move towards mid-rangers. I confirm 4.6 doesn't look pixelated with a mere 720 resolution, at least not to my eyes. Will keep an eye on this XZ1c...

I personally think 2700 or 2800(like the supposed leaked specs say) is enough already (or more than enough says my Xperia SP who can achieve a day and a half of usage with a 2370mAh battery and the same screen specs). If 3000mAh is to be provided, then I expect a phone with a thick and dense battery that will make the phone make it's thickness grow to 12mm.
