Lg has lost it. The only device that can save it is the v series phones.

If it had a Snapdragon 660.. It would be the king of the rugged.

You can also set an app to open with a long press of the same button (taken from Gsmarena review ). What were u saying again ?

That is a great and exciting phone from LG. 4100 mAh battery is nice, MIL-STD & IP68 rating, good specs all round and just judging by the how the phone is designed, I know those corners were made to take bumps from all angles. And having a button for activating Glove Mode is really handy. More companies should make such phones.

3D Touch, Bixby Button, Squeeze It, QuickButton, what unnecessary features more?

A Virtual Wife built-in would definitely help me.

                      Dat Home Button/FP Reader though.
Koreans and almost everyone but Sony really just copies each others.
Props to Sony for staying the way you are instead of mimicking others. You buy Sony, you get a Sony.
But you buy an LG, you get an LG with Samsung's reminisance to simplest details like where the volume buttons are placed, etc.

While the Galaxy S8 active copies the G6, the X venture is about how the S8 Active should've looked like with buttons. And the QuickButton would've been Bixby Active or whatever.
