No to the punch hole. Will wait for another generation. Elevating camera FTW. Value your privacy, enjoy truly bezzelless display. Samsung saw that punch hole is not a crowd favorite so I bet they are selling punched displays cheep.
IMHO very bad move from OnePlus. I switched from Samsung to OP 7 PRO to avoid punch hole, now is the time to run somewhere else...

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2019You bought an Asus phone ? Damn I almost feel sorry for you. What's wrong? Asus is coming back strong starting in Mid 2019. If you buy a midrange phone or two - four year old flagship, you dun goofed. You deserved it.

Literally, 0 people care about >60hz on their phones. If this means faster battery drain, I'd always use it in 60hz mode anyway.

Irrelevant upgrade of the century. Instead of getting where it matters (TVs to get an even 4:1 or 5:1 with the frames of movies and/or PCs for gaming and scrolling), we get it in phone where you'd hardly see the difference. I cannot think anything more gimmicky than what one plus does.

I don't need to buy Sharp because OnePlus will do it for me and then resell it as a groundbreaking phone :D

You are busy with pitching therotical ideas when you haven't even used the phone. ROG 2 last me enough with heavy usage at 120 hz.

Guess it goes against your narrative since you want to justify that all phones with 120hz display have worse battery life.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2019Another excuse for them to increase the price. Well played!Yep. My last OnePlus phone will probably be my last OnePlus phone.

Their strategy of raising the price $50 every 6 months by releasing a new model is pushing the people that flocked to OnePlus away.

We came because it was a true bargain. Vastly cheaper than the flagships and whilst you sacrificed some features the core of the phone was always flagship.

Now they keep adding new features outside of the core experience and wanting us to pay an extra $$$ every 6 months.

They're still cheaper but if they keep it up, they won't be.

OP7T was barely cheaper than the iPhone 11.

Use the goddamn phone before you compare them to consumption on PC
ROG 2 will last me 1.5-2 days with heavy use at 120hz
Lowering refresh rate to 60Hz got me 2.5 days with heavy use.
OnePlus and Pixel can't brag since the provide sub 4000mah battery
