softexbasah13, 09 Nov 2019Another gimmick, touch screen fresh just give camera under display will be perfect Exactly, no one wants a punchhole, notch or popup front camera. The first one that puts the camera behind the screen gets my money. I would prefer a phone with no front camera, but no one is going to do that.

I think OP don't really understand about your customer or they just stay around to push more products to the market.
I think most OP users expected mobile phone camera flagship killer from OP, not screen killer.

Their rendering and touch sensing are going through pipelines that put them a few frames out of sync without any timing compensation. It makes them unusable at 30Hz, bad at 60Hz, but OK at 90+ Hz. If they fixed those bugs and rendered motion blur correctly there'd be no way to tell the difference between 60 and 120 Hz refresh rates. The limit of vision maxes-out around 50 to 70 Hz. None of this is new tech - even many 1980s games did this correctly.

Duck of death, 09 Nov 2019Proper adaptive sync fixes the lag perception, touch sensor update rate has zero to do with di... morethis means you haven't tried playing fast pacing games like music rhythm games on 120hz. The advantage with playing fast pacing rhythm games on 120hz is we can see more clear than 60hz display when we should tap it, on 60hz people often miss tap it (ended not accurately tapping) that because the player often get 'fooled' by the ghosting effect on 60hz display especially on very fast level, we ended tapping after image or this 'ghost image', all of this happens on split second.. if you play on 120hz, the game itself project images more accurately and minimizing the error when we tap it

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2019almost every flagship this year has 4000 mah. They already have Yes. But the battery consumption has also gone higher. Therefore most phones still have only a day of battery life.

That is great for some people, but I'd rather have 60Hz and longer battery life. I wish they gave us a choice. Because this feature will be useful only to certain individuals, while having a serious drawback - battery drain.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2019Pls stop this nonsense. 120hz doesn't consume much more than 90hz. My ROG 2 gives me 1.5 - 2... moreYour GPU has to render twice as many pages per second for 120Hz to be utilised. That consumes a lot more energy.
An easy test is to set a frame rate limit on your computer's graphics, check CPU and GPU usage and do the same at doubled frame rate.

There are advantages with higher frame rates, they do however substantially diminish on a 6" display, as you can't se any actual detail to begin with.

Even people here are fascinated from 60hz phone going to 120hz for fluid motion display. Try scrolling down when opening website or you scrolling through your one of your long message/conversation thread, and try playing music rhythm games with ur 120hz and suddenly you feel became natural expert on that game even on highest level because you can get very good or perfect score
