AnonD-784107, 11 Nov 2019Yes i agree. Iphone are really good devices just let down by the screen and camera. But it has no screen burn in
And iP11's color accuracy is actually pretty good
But of course the resolution is quite lacking

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2019Only some phones get it Like s6 Went greeny in whites and lost colour But much rare on ... moreI'm writing this from my S6 that I don't use much since I got my Note9 1 year ago on Black Friday.

I've used this S6 loads as a 1 & only driver for 4 years, I never had an issue with any burn in or colour loss, maybe it's lost some blue, my Note9 screen is noticeably more perfect.

Regarding burn in I've played loads of Chess on it's Super AMOLED screen, brightness= ~50%, also Sat nav brightness up to 100% in daylight sunshine.

I've looked for an imprint or an impression of the chessboard, but I can't see any on this S6 & I've looked hard to see with full brightness @ max nits on both clear white & clear black backgrounds, with no trace whatsoever.

Hey guys to not confuse you even more and to be clear with you the Sasung Samoled is nothing more nothing less than basic Superamoled screen from samsung with nothing extra just a change in name.
But as far as i know the Samsung they will add some mayo to the main dish even there will be no change in main course.
In other words dont get blamed by something theses phones will doesnt have despite the company will tell you opposite.
Its like the shapphire lens on Apple which has been proven its just and only ordinary glass.

Good comeback from samsung, after many people referred to their screens as Samoleds, they go and trademark it.
I don't think the person who first came up with this name is getting a penny :p

For its black being black, its the best for hdr movies or any media content. The only downside is flickering(and latency), but it should improve as there is also push from them into laptops.

Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Huawei P9 Plus...the Platinum Huawei uses a Samsung Super Amoled screen. All three smartphones use Samsung Super Amoled. No burn in with the S2 after 9 months usage before selling it. No burn in with the P9 Plus after using it for two years straight. I have used the S5 the longest. I have used the S5 for 3 years straight and no burn in whatsoever. I still have it now and there's no burn in. I have the S5 for FIVE years and no burn in. Nuff said.

Vivek, 11 Nov 2019Why does an average consumer care about what is static in their phone when they are using Sams... moreThey will know what the tell tale symptoms of it are and if they're present and it shows that the owner hasn't taken reasonable care of it, then you (owner) can only expect to foot the bill for its replacement or repair.

Time to take all due care and responsibility for your device, if you don't then you have to deal with the consequences of your actions.
