Nice, so they will improve the OLED screens or is just a marketing name?
Also, OLED haters are here as always, i will never buy an LCD screen phone because they look worse in my opinion, now stop hatin on OLEDs.

I would try other service centres.

Adul Al Salami Kebab, 11 Nov 2019Still prefer LCD... OwOBut why?
The only advantage LCD has over AMOLED is no burn-in issue.
Other than that AMOLED is simply better.

I checked their website regarding burn-in and there is no real warning regarding burn in by Samsung officially and it seems like they are covering it in warranty for 2 years. As long as it is within warranty period, Samsung should fix it.

But if you want to prevent screen burn in, avoid setting the phone at max brightness, avoid bright colors especially white. Also to help with the blue light or the fact AMOLED is bad for the eyes you can set the blue light filter. I set my Note FE to 75% opacity. Even under heavy gaming use (which heats up the phone and puts the AMOLED to a risk) the phone still works exceptionally, except the phone already slows down due to excessive bloatware.

That's just asking for trouble and completely unnecessary.

Leaving the keyboard on the screen for a long time (while it's charging) does that to any phone screen!
1- Choose a dark themed keyboard
2- Make sure to enable the colors screensaver always and for any phone, this will prevent that from happening again. And it may actually fix the "burnt in keyboard" if you tried it now for a few days.

Up until now, I'm still figuring out as to what exactly are the notable differences between a conventional HDR10 Super AMOLED/OLED panel and HDR10+ Dynamic AMOLED screen in real usage.
I commend the quality of Dynamic AMOLED screens, but I look at Super AMOLEDs as if they're nothing worse (with HDR10 capabilities, of course).
Just like I adore the Galaxy Note 10+'s lovely panel, but still appreciate the Galaxy Note 8's as much, as if they're the same exact screens of different sizes.

Like, come on! Are people still getting fooled by these manufacturers' marketing terms for basically the same exact technology with minimal differences in real life? It's 2019 already for goodness sake!
I'd buy a S10 for its improvements in performance, battery life, audio, and performance, but if I weren't concerned about those things, I'd just save up my money and get the S8 instead. Most especially because they have similar quality, almost as to say identical displays!

I hope Samsung is pursuing real OLED, not some Active Matrix stuff. I hope it's not Diamond Pentile (unless it's on 1440p).

S8 owner, 11 Nov 2019Alter year of using Galaxy S8 it has keyboard burnt in. Samsung refuses warranty. Never gonna ... moreCorrect me if I'm wrong, oled burn is the result of continuous displaying of static content and that's why samsung shifts their virtual home button a few pixels every several seconds on an always on display.

Keyboard buttons meanwhile, will expand when you type on them. That's not static too.

So did you leave your keyboard on without texting anyone for several consecutive weeks?

New branding of the name.. could mean
1. fast refresh rate
2. full screen, with camera below the display.

but i hope they have improved touch sample rate as well.
