So RIP to all snapdragon 835 devices despite a 200000 to 240000 antutu scores capable phones.

brainless 2 year device support irrespective of flagship, mid end or low end models rule.

Garbage not even all 2019 phones from sony gets update.
For example L3 and from 2018 XA midrangers dont get any update at all.
Buying Sony is just tossing money out of window.
This company doesnt deserve your money guys.

Does anyone remember how long OS update delay happened to their first flagship Xperia S? Unfortunately, I was also in the list of the first owners of Xperia S and frankly, I was really frustrated that Sony delayed the update so much. Timely OS update does a lot for customer satisfaction. And in this current mobile market scenario where everything's competitive, I doubt the slow update providers will stay alive.

Kek, 16 Nov 2019I am seriously interested now in getting either a XZ2 or a XZ3.Don't listen to the first replyer to your comment.
He/she clearly hasn't even used those phones before.
Go on and try it for yourself and see whether you'd like it or not. I personally think you will.
Or you can also try the XZ2 Premium with its 4K HDR screen - something offered by Sony, and nothing but Sony only up to this day.

travstr, 16 Nov 2019so the update will be late and only coming to 8 devices. interesting... I wonder if Sony are e... moreBecause Sony's updates are well-optimized even on the first time they get released. Be happy that your phone is even going to receive updates - not all Android OEMs do that, even for their top tier models.
Personally, I won't mind about later than usual updates if it means my phone can't be unlocked by any fingerprints or faces other than my own.

so the update will be late and only coming to 8 devices. interesting... I wonder if Sony are even bothering with their mobile department any more? it seems like they couldn't care whether it fails or not.
