I am so confused with their roadmap lol. I wish they would stop releasing a new flagship every 6 mos. It doesnt make any sense.
Their naming is now a mess too.

( where are you from?) and I knowing their phones? I am not from Japan ( even though I like Japanese women). Or Taiwan. And Xiaomi doesn't advertize their phones and lots of other Chinese companies ( So why Xiomi and other Chinese companies sell and Sony don't sell?). And do not compare me Sony with google's phones. Ok google phone are sell better than Sony. But compare to Xiomi doesn't sell. See the numbers and do not Arguing in vain. Sony Needs biger Capacity batteries ( the most importand) and affordable prices. We have global economical crisis ( In economical crisis and strong competition nobody pay brand names - buy less for more, on the contrary the are buying paying less for more - Adam Smith Father Of modern economy law of demand and supply basic economic principles). If Sony's marketing division needs a director hire me to leed you in success).

Even on Sony Channel there is ad of Galaxy all the time. But none of their stuff.
They sell more than Google and OP.

But Sony uses software to lock them at 60.
You need to play with kernel to unlock the option.

People find 2k overkill.
And on top of that, you want 4k at 120 hz. Lol you have to stop dreaming. That is just gonna kill the battery without any significant advantage of using the display.

There are thing one has better than the other.
Lower price than Pixel 4 XL and iphone 11 Max. Also old phones like iphone X and Oppo Find X had higher price.

i remember when xperia is consistent with ip68 rating...
other manufacturers were not fast adapting them...
likewise, the recent 960fps which was immediately adapted by the galaxy...
other manufacturers also claim 960fps but used interpolation to do it - filling up some frames based on the previous and next frames which means eerie output...
there are some more features that others have not yet "thought about" following...
1 eye auto focus - last time i checked sony alpha and canon eos have them as a standout feature... dont have an idea if nikon and fujifilm have them...
2 4k display - which started the "premium" line up of xperia...
3 21:9 which is "cinema friendly"...
it is normal for others to argue that these are not important, like how they consider ip68 and superslowmo features...
this actually makes xperia somehow "future proof"... except for "software update" since 2-3 years are good enough for android... but hey, i still can use my z5 premium...
sure, it has "huge bezels"... but it still has something to offer that even new midrangers cant... and for that 4k display, only xperia surpass an xperia...
i sound a lot of a fanboy. :D

Every year, Sony flagships use to come last. In recent, years, they have fixed the issues plaguing their devices but then they priced it way higher where Samsung and Huawei were better choices.

at least, xperia is still holding on to what they said that they are going to make new phones despite low sales.
can't imagine my next phone to be non xperia...

And of course, Xperia will be first to have 8K in few years. That before many other move to QHD.
