This was my first phone. It was one of the first "GSM" phones that came out that didnt weigh a ton unlike the Motorolas of those times. Nokia was just starting out, and I believe this was one of their first "truly digital" phones unlike the analog ones that came before it. I remember buying this from an officemate of mine who brought it home from the US, then I ended up selling it to another officemate when i got myself a Nokia 5110. Looking back, i regret selling it, i should have hung on to it as it would be a nice piece of history to look back on.

Can still be used in our days ? Or the Gprs isnt working anymore ? Or is something wrong with the phone antenna ?
I am daily using this with extended battery, rocking 3 days, making 30min of call every day and 10sms. Mine is the original 2110 from 1994. The software of 2110i is better and faster though... I think I will upgrade :D
For the time it was a great phone. Sending SMS was no longer pain like on 1011 and 2010, you could set up easy reminder and alarm based on countdown and you get rock solid reception of GSM.

Its Awesome why did they discontinue it?
Since SIM cards hold the subscriber's information, they come in handy when the battery on your phone is low or needs to be recharged. You can take out the SIM card and place it into another phone and send a text or make another call. ... It does not matter if you are using an Android or Apple (AAPL) - Get Report phone.

Aleksej Kneževi&, 18 Mar 2020No price. I think it's cheap phone. No way. It was SUPER expensive like SUPER VERY expensive. I remember that my parents was buying a phone only for lending it to me. I wished this one but unfortunately they bought a Motorola Flare to my dismay because it was a lot cheaper. The motorola was crap and could barely stay on for a whole day even with a giant battery attached so after a year this went on sale in my country for a VERY good price and I was all - hell yeah i'll buy it right away. And so I did. Served me well all the way to 1998 when I got my girlfriend and sold it to her for some other phone. Those where good times.
Phone of the year - in 1995. The very best you could possible get at the time. This brings back MANY good memories

I have one(the 2110i from April 7, 1995) in my collection. Some of the pixels are dead and battery can barely hold a couple of seconds, but still happy that it otherwise works well. I also have a working Ericsson NH99 from 1992 or 1993. Our neighbours(Finland and Sweden) definitely used to make great phones. Even some of the Ericsson GA628-s were made in our country(in Estonia).
