I have just got 1 but i'm not sure what charger to use as it didn't come with one. If anyone knows please tell me.
I've been using mine for about five years, until last month on the original battery. It had started to turn itself off occasionally though the scale indicated there should have been sufficient charge in the battery. A new battery fixed that, possibly because it is attached so much more firmly, after five years the original was quite loose. Wouldn't like to have to change to a new phone.
I've never had one but I find it as one of the most aesthetically pleasing phones ever made by any mobile phone manufacturer.
This is my first ever cellphone & it's a great one. Though it's big & heavy, but it's tough & reliable. I have been using it for (believe it or not) almost 7 years & no major issue encountered. Too bad many modern phones couldn't match its quality.
This is great phone ive had 3 and i never want another phone!! but this this handset was not in "The Matrix" the phone that did appear in the matrix was a nokia 8110.
this was my second phone ever, and i can tekk that it served me sell way wy back, it was TRINITY of the MATRIX's unit, see how GREAT this phone was, your like a HOT property when you click it to slide and then answer calls, like "HELLO ITS TRINITY"... but then again... Those were the days
I have the phone for a very long time. Its very reliable. Does someone now how much memory it has? In megabites?
WOW this was 2nd phone after havin a 3210 lol, this was the best non-colour fone eva made,i remember how wen u pressd the slide button how quickly it opend to reveal a beautiful keypad, and the beautiful screen it had,wat a walk down memory lane,nw i have a Sony Ericsson W900 strange how we wud hav neva thought we wud be so advanced so quickly, realy scary
just ordered a 7110,looking forward to using it again coolest phone ever made.
People from Nokia, please, please, please make another model like this. Best design ever.
Back then this phone was the height of "coolness"! Everyone who watched "The Matrix" wanted one. I sure did! Haha!

I've searched everywhere for a picture of this "slide button" on the nokia 7110 but I just can't find any... But it does exist, correct?
i've started using this phone after getting rid of a panasonic vs6 ans formerly a sonyericsson k608. no more fancy fones for me. at least not for a while. i am enjoying the 7110 in all its retro glory. i've just ordered a li-ion battery pack for it because the standard battery just won't cut it. i think i'll be sticking to this nokia phone at least for a while. it is a great phone and after 5 years in use it still works as intended with even better signal and voice volume than my former vs6 and k608 used to have. i won't be spending my cash on fancy fones. back to the basics it's what it is. :) all you 7110 users out there: respeKt! :)) cheery-o!
I used to love my 7110 i was envied by everyone that i knew in fact some of my bought the 7110 after seeing mine we all love the push button slide especially the bullit like speed the slide opened with. Everthing about this phone was just cool.
I wish nokia had made a 2nd version of it..
Scotty
i was in grade ten when my dad offered to switch phones. i exchanged my 5110 for his 7110. i was the most envied kid around. it was called "the matrix". loved the wap, leading example. greatest phone in it's time!
A friend of mine had this phone. It looked very impressive, especially because of its WAP capabilities, I think that this was the first phone to offer the WAP service, but im not sure.
I think this was my third phone. It looked great then again the scroller/slider and the antenna were a bit too easy to break. I love the alphabet function though. I think this is the first Nokia unit to have that one which is now common in Sony Ericsson phones.
Hmm, a most aesthetically pleasing handset which to this day still turns heads. I was particulally upset when my 7110 died however life goes on :p
Long live '90s vogue styling!
realy it was 1 of the best fone i have ever used!!! works anywhere i never had any kind of reception problem vth dis fone, most of time my frends mobile stop geting signals at any paticular place but i can still make or rcv calls on dis mobile! realy it works anywhere !!!!!
looks r very rich n everything is perfect on dis mobile
When I first got her,her apearance made a statement,The Nokia 7110,the ultimate phone at that time,it had class, style and could perform. It could store 1000 names with each name the ability to have 4 numbers and two lines of text,it had wap, predictive text, built in dictionary,infra-red,you can be in the heart of a nightclub and still have a conversation, with two microphone speakers, one on the flap and one on the phone. It had a loud ringer with a powerfull vibrating battery, and best of all, when answering a call, click the button on the back, which releases the flap, and talk, that should look so cool....when will nokia build a phone to this calliber again....
