Downloaded contents from mobile wap n all Java Files were downloaded and installed without any problem.

thanx in adva... moreHi, I too tired installing .jar n .jad files on the phone but got the error as "Files Unsupported". Read somewhere that you will have no problem downloding the contents directly on your phone from your phone browser. However, traferring Files from Bluetooth or USB will not help.
Try it from Wap n let me also know, coz i still have to try it from the phone browser.

it is really quite good phone for students those who are studying IT and business. reliable touch screen fast and easy access to internet. order at Vodafone 3working days to arrive. best for talk and messaging. email and internet are free upto 15MB just need to pay £2. after that i may vary.

this is a good phone & all that but it doesnt have qwerty bord. you cant landscape it when your typing. it has a good camera though but sound quality aint that good. thats beacause it not a walkman phone. it has a supperb quality in comes of browsing the internet. ;) just be contented guys. you can find features that you cant find in other phones. ;) its up 2 u really.

Mustafa, 21 Jul 2008Does this phone have a landscape virtual keypad? Thanks!The F490 doesnt have a landscape keyboard, which sucks :( dont think it would have been hard for Samsung to make the keybord have the ability to become landscape querty..

The phone is disaster apart from its technicalities, u cant change the interface, no themes, same monotonous blue interface, touch screen isn't perfect, mp3 audio speaker output is too low, headphones volume n clarity r just good... cam clarity for it being 5 mega pixels is disappointing!!!..

hi i have this phone for a week and am lovin it .glad it has a lock on it though.however you have to unlock the press to accept a call bit time consuming.the sleek looks are a def plus.could have done with a screen cover or something similar to tacco.

Trully a dreadful phone. Touchscreen is nowhere near responsive enough, camera (although 5MP) is aweful, MP3 player not comparable to any Sony Ericsson and battery life is pathetic.
If you're thinking of buying this phone, I strongly recommend the F480, a better, newer model and it is also cheaper.
